Veteran Twin Cities sportscaster Tom Witschen is entering his 40tth year of play-by-play. He has broadcast over 4,500 games for five colleges and universities and in 12 different high school conferences in three states over the years. For 15 years, he was the Twin Cities Radio Voice of the Prep Bowl and State High School Hockey and Boys and Girls Basketball Tournaments. He was inducted into the Minnesota State High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 2007. Received the Mike Augustin Award trom the MIAC in 2013.
He has broadcast four different sports at the University of Minnesota since 1995. He is currently the online voice of Augsburg College football, volleyball, basketball, hockey and baseball. And Voice of Stillwater Ponies Football and covers Northwest Suburban, Mississippi 8 and Suburban East sports for the Bob FM Sports Network. And for 4 years, broadcasting state tournaments for Prep45.com/grandstadium.tv.
Matt Nelson began his broadcasting career in the fall of 2009 shortly after graduating from the University of Minnesota. Since then, he has brought his passion for sports to the broadcast booth. He has worked play-by-play for Golden Gopher Men’s and Women’s Basketball as well as Volleyball for BTN.com. Has been with T.J. Broadcast Services also since 2009 helping to broadcast Gopher Volleyball and Baseball. For 3 years he has been broadcasting St. Catherine University Volleyball and Basketball. And has helped with the broadcasts of Augsburg Volleyball, Basketball and Baseball. Has lent his considerable talents to coverage of High School sports the past few years for Prep45.com/grandstadium.tv and the Bob FM Sports Network and the Voice of Hill-Murray Pioneer Football.
Dan Hamann began his broadcasting career in his hometown of Benson, MN for KBMO radio while still in high school. In college, Dan was the primary play-by-play announcer for the St. Cloud State Huskies hockey team on KVSC radio. In his time at SCSU, Dan also called football, basketball, baseball, and softball on radio; and was a member of the original crew which started televising SCSU hockey locally and for Midwest Sports Channel.
Dan began working for TJ Broadcast Services in 2008. Now beginning his 7th year as Voice of University of Minnesota Womens Hockey. In addition to his duties with TJBS, Dan does some work covering high school sports for the Bob FM Sports Network.

With more then 12 years of p/b/p experience in the Twin Cities, Josh brings versatility and an exciting style to the plate. Over the years he as been one of the primary voices for Prep45.com/grandstadium.tv. He is adept at 5 deifferent sports. For over a decade, has been one of the p/b/p voices of BEC-TV. For the last 3 years, has been helping out on Augsburg sports including Football and Hockey with T.J. Broadcast Services. Also works as Voice of the University of Minnesota Marching Band.
TJBS's IT guy. Keeps busy getting our crews on the air and running camera. His career in the broadcast industry started in the mid 1970's . After graduating from Brown Institute, his first job was at KSUM in Fairmont. In addition to his on-air duties, he developed an interest in the engineering side of radio. And ended up with his Advanced Class Amateur radio license. He worked at BEC-TV for a time providing tech support. In addition to tech support and camera work for T.J. Broadcast Services, he performs similar duties for AM 740 WDGY here in the Twin Cities. And works as on-air talent as well.
Mike is a recent graduate of Augsburg College where he played baseball. Just getting his feet wet in the broadcast industry. Works for the MIAC hosting a weekly podcast featuring coaches and players from around the conference. Also does p/b/p including the annual MIAC Baseball Tournament each May. He co-hosts the Gopher Sports Update with Matt Nelson each week as they talk U of M sports with coaches and athletes. Still works at Augsburg as a public address announcer and does p/b/p of Auggie Softball. Has worked with TJBS on state tournament coverage of volleyball, baseball and softball for Prep45.com/grandstadium.tv and various other events.
